Crowdsourced Mentorship

On a recent collaboration with Marni Kinrys (video below), Marni talked about how much she’s learned from Master Minds, or simply put, groups that get together regularly for co-mentorship. I’d personally never heard of a Master Mind, so I started looking into it and realized–that’s exactly what we’re trying to build!

A lot of people think linking up with a mentor or a mentee has to be a very formal process, but the truth is, if we keep an open mind, we can learn something from almost everyone we meet. That’s the driving force behind the section of my Youtube channel focused on careers, personal finance, etc.

So to continue in that spirit, I’ve started a Facebook group as well, just as a separate forum for everyone to discuss, collaborate and learn from one another. The comments on my videos have been so diverse in terms of people with different kinds of knowledge, from education to finance and from different parts of the world. We all have some expertise from our own life experiences, so I’m hoping people will continue to share that there.
